Breaking Ground

Outside the tenth floor executive suite of Fenway Health, a memory of a hopeful day is given pride of place. Four shovels, each labeled with the date October 6, 2006, are hung in memory of Fenway Health's ground breaking for the new ten-story Ansin Building.

Using museum mounts the shovels are hung at a height of 9' and joined together with a laser-cut aluminum garland of vines and flowers by Dutch designer Tord Boontje.
