Restaurant signage

For the Vine Restaurant in Kent, England, the brief required signage that would compliment the historic context of the village of Sevenoaks.

A hand-lettered sign, based on the English typeface Perpetua Titling was selected. Hood Design provided the sign painter with this drawing, and without using a stencil or frisket, the sign painter brought the lettering to life in a way that laser-cut vinyl could not.
