The Vine Restaurant's graphic identity places the quietly elegant English typeface Perpetua within a floriated border referring to The Vine–the adjoining area within Sevenoaks, Kent that serves today as a cricket ground. The name originates in the time when the area was a viney wilderness.

The Vine is a contemporary restaurant using classic methodology with local produce, meats, and game. Hood Design was retained to develop a consistent brand environment across print, web, and signage.
