For Fenway Health, a health center serving Boston's LGBTF community, managing their brand experience amidst the construction of a new ten-story building required careful consideration of who they were, and were becoming.
Early on a decision was made to create interiors that do not look like typical health care environments, but instead were soothing and restrained. Working with the architects, and longtime collaborator Greg Wilson of Warren Square Design, a palette of materials and colors was developed. The scope of the project included specification of furnishings, design of way-finding and benefactor signage, wall colors, textiles, and curation of the building's art collection.
Central to the first floor lobby is an internally lit benefactors' wall that tell the story of building the Ansin Building.
